350z First Drift day

350Z FIRST DRIFT DAY

Why do I do this to myself.

I question this all the time, why ? It's never going to be as simple as my stupid little brain makes out to me before hand.

Okay so here we are.

I fly home from China - Another one of my jobs which is very, very hard work when we are out there, zero sleep - next day I grab the 350z as you'd have seen in the last Email, ill upload this to the blog shortly too but in new words as I've forgot what I wrote. haha.
Well We get there, I do my first laps - Handbrake does nothing, literally nothing
my butthole has never been that clenched, I thought I was going straight into the wall, I was going fair quick into the first corner hahah.

Unfortunately, unbeknownst to me. 350z get hot quick. which is very annoying. Id only gone in to the pens to do some skids to feel the car out, see where it breaks traction, where the lock limits where, and about 3-4 minutes of it got the coolant too hot. The car needs cooling upgrading. which is frustrating as that is not cheap ! But I will figure something out.

The look of a man who didn't realise it would require more than just turning up in a car to do a skid. hahah.

It wasn't all bad though, I did like the 350z & how it skids. Although I've got some decisions to make which will come to light in the next few emails & A YouTube video to follow - Its complicated but I will explain to make it make sense

Check out the Clothing

I have to quickly say too, these hoodies are absolutely next level, I wore it pretty much all day until the temperature dropped to about -30 (or how it felt) so made me very proud of them, I have a couple left along with T's too. So if you fancy checking those on the site please feel free - I'm including a free flag with each order too for now !

Long story short, I need to decide if I Keep both the 350z & Clio RS, or if I sell one of them (will give you a hint, the yellow one is no longer for sale) I really didn't want to have to put a tonne of money into another project car but after seeing the 350z doing some skids I do think it looks pretty bad ass and I did like it. Just needs a few mods to make it excellent for the job.

Will see how business goes & if I can get 6two1 turning over some big numbers again, I've neglected it whilst being busy with the other job & also being a bit of a lazy prick in my spare time. but things are changing for the better (I think)

I got really lucky with my pit neighbour too, James who owns Autofinesse was parked up next to me in his absolute fkn nuts E36. as an E36 connoisseur I was jealous, but James is such a top guy its hard to be jealous, more envious ! 1jz, beautiful bodywork, incredible cage & top bloke, going to go see him soon hopefully & check out some of his car collection as it is, outstanding.

Overall I had a fantastic day at Santa pod, it's where I did my first 3 drift days & I'll always love the place for that. Just a shame I didn't do a bit more research into the 350z before I took it there, but hey ho, it was still fun. Ive got some thinking to do now about cars & what to do. but we shall see - Thanks for reading & see you in the next one!
