I'm taking you back to Holland for this post, Jos Boesten got in contact with with me through facebook a while back saying he wanted to hook up whilst I was next over for a photoshoot, he came and picked me up early on a wet, cold & windy Saturday morning. Not being from Zandvoort either neither of us had any idea where his shoot could take place.
Thankfully, Zandvoort is beautiful and I can only imagine very expensive place to live. With its red brick paved estates and its very well cared for greenland. It wasn't too hard to find a nice place to park up and get some pictures.
Jos initially started modifying classis American cars, his previous Buick Riviera boat tail was what he was initially playing around with, but after deciding it was the worst car he had ever owned, breaking down more than he was getting to drive it he knew it had to make way for something much more reliable.
Having always having a soft spot for Honda's he picked up an EJ6 coupe, which after 2 years he passed on to his Girlfriend to use after finding it too slow to carry on with. Replacing that with the EK4 you see in the pictures.
That was now 4 years ago, the EK4 has managed to not only keep his attention, but also bring him closer to other enthusiasts whilst maintaining the car to standards he is happy with.
The Civic got treated to a respray in BMW bronze, even though he was a fan of the original Granada Black that was on the civic, but after a small browse of google Jos knew he'd found the colour that was going to replace it.
Jos can be found on the club stands of Retail Crew, Civic Club Holland and HCN at shows, depending on who is showing at each one.
The wheels you see on the car are not the Rota GT3's you initially thought. These are in fact the wheels that Rota copied for the design, Gab Sport 15 x 7 on the front & 15 x 6.5 on the rear wrapped in Toyo Proxes T1R's.
