Our Budget E36 - Issue

While back I picked up a BMW E36 in a trade deal, i was pretty happy with the deal until i looked over what i had. aha, none the less, Im not one to let an old rusty, badly engine swapped E36 die.

Ill give you a full breakdown soon on what I have, what the car really is, but for now I want to update the build & include a youtube video showing you!

I assume the damage on the hub was caused by someone removing driveshafts, very aggressively lol

But its just metal, metal is my favourite thing to work with as its so reusable

I got the old grinder out (desperately need a new one, recommendations on brands?) and got to work, making a beautiful smooth work of art.

Excuse the poor image quality, I screenshotted them from a Phone video, nice and professional you see.

The car had a weird wheel movement after we swapped the rear drums to discs, so i set about figuring out what the hell was going on.

Thankfully, it was pretty obvious once I got the car in the Unit, collected my thoughts about why I am still doing this at 33 years old and got the 6TWO1 Gloves on so I could get started.

I find something strangely relaxing about metal work, I really want to give it more of a shot, getting over that anxiety of just doing is something I am working towards, this car is such a fun way to learn, I love E36’s and having a really really crap one makes it much less stressful that I will be doing any irreversible damage.

Im taking it drifting very soon, and I pray it all holds up haha, but this day was successful, the wheel now rotates properly, check the video below of me getting stuck in!
