Ireland Adventure, 2022 - The Start.
2022 for me has been a slow year for being behind the wheel, I got really, really fortunate in 2020 & got offered a Job with Drift Masters, to which I jumped at the chance to join the fantastic media team behind the show!
The job itself doenst take up a huge amount of my time, but that mixed with running a company, reviving 6TWO1, making a new webstore in purecarmodify & also being a dog dad ! It made the free weekends I crave to go and just send pure abuse through the pedal to one of my cars.

October came & So did drifting for me! I got back behind the wheel at Drift Matsuri, which re-lit the fire inside to drift cars, I booked up as many as I could before the end of the year.
I have had the absolute pleasure of working with the Drift Games guys at Drift Masters & I knew their end of year bash was coming up, so I booked it up & Got a boat ready!
I moved myself into Mondello Park so I could leave the Silvia safely while I got to hang out with the Drift games guys, Jimmy Oakes & Crew were also over as a Guest driver so that was super cool to meet & hang out with them too, a brilliant bunch of guys & girls !
After parking up the S15 for the week, I headed down with Dave & the gang to the tuning shop - DRT Automotive, the Drift Games Drift taxi was being tuned at! Jimmy Oakes specialises in Link & was going to finish up the tune with his own little fiddly fingers. Before we left, I met this chap…
Yep, Richard Rawlings from Gas Monkey Garage was filming at mondello & took some time out to come in and meet us all, ill be honest, most awkward photo ive ever had taken with anyone lol

Down at DRT We took a minute to check out some of the builds they have going on, along with their own cars. (See gallery)
The following day I headed up to Curran Motors to kind of just linger and not really help doing anything, but then Dave trusted me and RJay to make doorcards for the drift taxi, Rjay decided after doing one he had to disappear to mondello to “work” yeh yeh whatever, so it left me to kinda do it, so i just didnt do it until like, it was absolutely the last moment to do it, dont get me wrong, I did it, with the help of Dave, Droney & about 3 other people in the end but bygum did we do a spiffing job
Definitely not my finest work aha but i love this FoamX stuff, going to order it for my Silvia & the BMW to make some interior panels for our own cars.
Jimmy Oakes was straight on the tools! fitting a new Front Lock kit from one if their sponsors, I wish i could remember what brand it was, but they dont know who i am either so i guess its fair lol FDF I think

Waynes dog is amazing company in the workshop, but also an incredible guard dog. Big boss!
I had such an awesome day with everyone down here. It’s still so surreal to me being able to hang out with these awesome people & it feel super normal. I feel very privileged and i loved every second, even though it was absolutely Freezing!
but i loved it, it was great. Next post I will be showing you around Drift Games car collection, or what they had there!
