Back in action.

2023 has been a manic start & its almost been exactly what I needed.

This Covid hangover on my life has been kind of crazy, I had really struggled to find my enthusiasm for anything. But something has changed in 2023, I dont know if you guys & girls feel it too?

It feels …. Normal?

So lets get down to business. Whats been happening?

Well, If you havnt been keeping up to date with my youtube channel let me tell you !

The year kicked off for me at a very…. disappointing Autosport. the best part about it was getting to catch up with a few friends & companies i work with within the industry, but the show itself was….. terrible…. i’ve been to busier car meets. But we got to check out some fairly cool cars, did some GTR hunting as that was all there really was on display & like I said, caught up with some old friends.

Shortly after this, I wanted to test out some camera gear & Also go see an old friend from the local car community, no better time to test the gear than in front of his 300ZX that he is lovingly building!

That video was more unique as the car didnt actually drive out on the road and we filmed it, i wanted to just talk. See how that style of video did, number wise it was okay so no complaints, especially considering it was a low effort video to film & it was great to catch up with Andy

Not long after I’d left Andy, I got to do my first Road Trip of the year! Back to IRELAND! To Drive in the Drift Games Bash, along side world famous entertainers such as Hert, Nightride, Jimmy Oakes & obviously not forgetting the Drift Games Team.

These trips are my favourites. I love these lads a lot & I love the track (Mondello Park) I love they let us drifters there, I love that theyre all in on it! Imagine if some tracks from the UK saw what Mondello were doing & The MONEY THEY ARE MAKING FROM EVENTS!! But, Hey ho i guess UK tracks make enough & wont all be sold off for housing estates eventually

It felt like i’d been home for 10 minutes before packing my bags again and taking the pilgrimage to the european Mecca for car fans… The Nurburgring.

Ill do more indepth posts about all of this by the way, just right now, we’re catching up & Im bombarding you with videos you may have ignored or missed. Please watch them and help me grow the channel, what I have lined up is so awesome!

The whole series is up on the channel, but my poor little pampered Bmw M3 that I have only ever really driven enthusiastically on essex roads past 2am really did not stand up to the test that is the Nürburgring. at 10 years old now, the bushings all fell apart & other issues arose. so I limped the car back to the UK & Ended up dropping it off to the legends that are Evolve automotive to fix.

Not to be outdone by the M3, my Clio RS decided it wasn’t going to start again once I got back from a personal holiday in USA. Typically, I got angry and decided to ignore it until ignoring it annoyed me.
Theres a whole story behind this, ill explain in an upcoming video. Its kind of funny how at 33 I still make 12 year old mistakes but it is what it is.

As far as the clothing line goes, we’re ordering some new stuff now for the line up, I really want to focus on doing proper drops on these instead of random as they are now, but im just organising my life, like I said at the start of the post, this year feels like normal is returning for me. I’m loving what I do again & I hope that shows through what I produce.

The nurburgring was eye opening for me. The cars breaking normally would stress me out but instead im excited to fix them, even working on my own stuff again which I hadnt really been for the last year or so.

It feels good man. Im looking forward to the rest of the year. Drift Masters, Shows, Drift days, events, BBQs & maybe another trip to the ring, lets see what life brings.
