The S15 Re-Build Begins.

Right, so the S15 is finally getting some love again! It’s been a long time coming, but I’ve started stripping it down and sorting the bits that have been crying out for attention.

First thing – the livery had to go. Don’t get me wrong, I loved it when it first went on, but I’ve been feeling like the car needs a cleaner, more subtle look, just for me personally, I’ve always been completely honest on the blogs & although its defiantly not what works in 2025.

Doesn’t it just feel like everyone is a disney vlogger now? Fake smiles & forced sponsor shite. I have to remain transparent, I just felt uncomfortable driving around a purple car with a big body kit with a big livery all over it.

Im 35 almost 36 now, a cleaner Japanese street car vibe was much more what I am aiming for to enjoy the car again. So I spent a good chunk of time peeling it all off, and honestly, I’m buzzed with how good it looks bare. The S15 just has such nice lines on its own especialy with the wider arches on– doesn’t really need all the madness to stand out and also, it didnt really match my personality either or how I like to present my cars.

You just dont get car design like this anymore…

How cool is the rear profile of this car?

Once The livery was off & I saw the car back how I love it, my heart was full

Seeing the car back on the Work wheels, with no decals on the bodywork gave me goosebumps, this is the car that really made me fall head over heals with modifiying outside of Hondas, the story isn’t done yet either. its very important for me to get this project back on the road above all else. I feel its too damn cool to be kept hidden away. plus its a pleasure to drive on the road too.

I also spent some time with the cable ties doing some drift stitching on the bumpers (trying to save a bit of money lol)

Next job was pulling the diff. This thing has had a serious beating, so it’s time to decide whether it’s getting rebuilt or I just go ahead and replace it completely. Either way, it’s coming back stronger because, let’s be real, if your diff’s not right you cant trust the car properly while doing what is a dangerous activity, especially with the price of these bloody things now!

And while I was in there, I sorted the wheel bearings too. Not the most glamorous job, but it’s the little things that make the car feel solid again. So getting them out was important & will be wipping those up to Will Penny to press out in the next few weeks.

That’s where we’re at right now. It feels so good to see the car stripped back and starting fresh. Next stage is going to be really exciting – once the diff’s sorted, I can get the whole rear end back together and start pushing on with the rest of the rebuild. I have my eyes on a few different body kit parts but really we need to redo the wings & wire in some indicators so i can get this through an MOT.

I really hope you like what I have going on at the minute! Its a lot of fun.
