6TWO1 FEATURES
Hey everyone! wanted to touch base with you guys on here!
Ive been working really, really hard on the youtube channel
I had to take a step back and think why i got into youtube in the first place
one - to make funny content when i was younger, i grew up on the jackass, viva la bam, cky generation of idiocy. Which at the beginning influenced my content a lot. and back then it worked! but, youtube has evolved to a much more professional site, also with an algorithm that punishes recklessness.
When i was at School, I struggled a lot, but my English coursework I did writing as if I was a car journalist. Leading on from that, I actually lived my dream when print was big! Loads of features I got to write for magazines such as Honda tuner, Banzai Magazine & Japanese Performance magazine, but like everything, these all faded into the past too.
Ive seen my biggest numbers on youtube through my very own car features, but when i watch them back, the production quality was terrible, my own behaviour on them was quite immature (leading on from the jackass style of influence from my original content) and I just dont like what I made back then.
So I decided, I had all the gear & all i have to do, is execute the idea, and thats what im doing!
Alex, or Garage Twenty Eights R32 was the first feature I attempted. I really really enjoyed making it & I’m still convinced one day I will own & tame GODZILLA
Pete’s Civic has been a big video helping me get back on the right side of the Alogorithm, a real roots video! Check it out
Next up going live tonight is Sophie Carpenters S14, we originally got together 2 years ago to do the first video of this, but the car has changed a lot and I wanted to refilm it for her in the latest style. I hope you’ll like it, i really am happy with how it came out
Ive also filmed 3 more cars coming to the channel, which are all outstanding. I feel the more I do these features the more I will learn too, and the better the videos will get
Whats to come you may ask ? well let me show you
I am really excited to show you these. the R33 will come first. S2000 Second & the R34 will be the third feature out of the 3
I also have a couple of updates on my own cars / Builds, but i want to film a video explaining whats happening and then a full garage update once certain cars are back from whatever theyre getting done. So stay tuned for that!
Im off to Driftmasters Tomorrow (Wednesday 7th) So any Merchanise ordered from Today 2pm - Sunday will be shipped Monday the 12th. Thank you all so much for your recent support, ive seen an increase in orders for the clothing again. Ive got more new premium line arriving tomorrow and in a few weeks, more garage line t’s arriving too.
We will be at East Coast Japanese on 16th of July with the Silvia S15 ( as long as i dont write it off at Dorifest) so get to them events, come hang out & grab some stuff without a delivery fee! I can also be made to do a deal, so ask on the day!
Once again, thank you for supporting what I do, i think i have a really clear vision now and i hope you can see it too. I have too much to tell you, so ill do another blog soon
